What is Fluid Recycling and Solids Control?
Fluid Recycling. Solids Controls.
What and why this is important if you are drilling a well.
When one drills a well, drillers use mud to stabilize the hole, cool the bit, bring up cuttings and samples and create hydraulic pressure to keep the formation from collapsing.
A good drillers mud will reduce.
Fluid recyclers goal is to clean 100% of the circulating volume while removing as much of the solid drill debris. This is achieved with a large surface area and proper movement (linear and elliptical motion). Small particle solids (sands and silts) are removed with de-silt/de-sand hydrocyclones. The waste from the cones is the concentrated undesirable material we don't want circulating back into the aquifer that can potentially cement off production zones with high solid muds.
